A favorite short story from the many works of HP Lovecraft, I remember spending quite some time drawing my imagining of the creature described in this story. The elaborate and excited pace of the story is reflected in the quickened pace of the narration here. I used a slight New England type accent through out. Interestingly, the recording (done on my Samsung Captivate) has a particuarly noisy quality that makes it sound as if it was recorded years ago which actually goes well with the subject matter. I made 6* mistakes that were audible...I want to get better at narrations of this sort. The story was read and recorded in one recording without repeat. Enjoy!
